The Future of Thicker Treat (August Update, PLEASE READ)) (Patreon)

Hey guys! So, after giving it a considerable amount of thought, I've come to the decision that August will be the end of the Thicker Treat Café as you know it today.

My life has changed considerably over this summer. For most of my time doing this the past year, I was unemployed, and in a rather uncomfortable situation with my family. Now, I have a full time job and have settled into a much more comfortable place of my own. This is all fantastic, my life is ten times better than it was back in January or February. Unfortunately, these changing circumstances have made it so I do not have the time or energy to put into what I've been offering you guys for the past year, and I've foolishly burnt myself out trying to do it this past May, June and July.

So, at the end of August, once I finish all of the scheduled content I have for you guys and all of my commission work, I've decided that I'll be pausing the Patreon and giving myself a much needed rest for a little while. (Likely all of September and October.)

After that, things will be changing significantly. For now though, here is the preview for August's content:

If I'm unable to finish the content listed above by the end of August, content will continue into September, but rest assured, billing will be paused after payments are finished processing for August. (Considering I'm still working on July's Natsuki sequence, this is likely a given.)

As you can see, Donut Delinquent is not on the preview. It will be going on hiatus this month as I work to clear up every other commitment. Of course, this  leads into the next segment:

With my new circumstances, I've had to think hard on what I'd use my limited art time to work on. The answer I've come to should be no surprise. Donut Delinquent. It's my baby, and if I had to drop everything except one project, this would of course be the project I kept. 

While I intend to spend the bulk of my off-time resting for a while, the call of drawing chubby girls will no doubt be impossible to resist, and I plan on experimenting to see how many quality pages of DD I can create in a week, and applying that to a new schedule when I return. This is how you'll get the rest of Delinquent Chapter 3. I'll be posting it in all the usual places.   

Now, In November or December, the Patreon will be relaunched as The Tachibana Bakery, and will be dedicated solely to Donut Delinquent. It will only feature only one tier to begin with- $3 for early access to Donut Delinquent pages. If this isn't as appealing as the old Thicker Treat Cafe, don't feel bad about dropping your subscription now, I understand completely. 

Also, I plan to begin work on creating a dedicated webcomic site for Donut Delinquent, one with a proper archive of past pages, a Character section that keeps track of character's weights, and other cool features! This is early in the planning stage, expect to hear more at a later date. 

With all of that out of the way, I just want to thank everyone who has supported me this past year, it really has meant the world to me. Your support has helped pay bills, buy food and help me get things I wanted in times I would have had no money to otherwise. The fact that people have liked my art enough to pay me real money for it warms my heart like you wouldn't believe. Thankfully, I'm in a comfortable enough place now where I don't have to rely on this.
