Heyo! Just thought I'd pop in and give you guys a little peek into something that's been clogging the ol' creative pipeline, something I really shouldn't even be thinking about at the moment, but wouldn't leave my mind until I at the very least got a proof of concept done up for it...

That's right, a future project! I go into this more below, but before you read any further, I want to make it clear that this is a pipeline project, something where production has only just began and it will be a long while before it actually premieres.

With that out of the way, I'd like to introduce you all to Gluttony Gals: A Donut Delinquent Story.

Riku is the Class Clown of Class 3-A, A dweeby, girl-crazy slacker who, despite always trying to make people laugh and smile, usually winds up irritating everyone around him...

Yui and Sakura are the most popular, trendy girls at school, obsessed with fashion, food and fun... Yui is a mean spirited bully (The type to hurt with words compared to Hana who hurts with fists...) where Sakura, while considerably less mean spirited... is about as dumb as a bag of bricks, doing basically whatever Yui says...

The two girls never gave Riku the time of day, despite his immense crush on both on them... that is, until they realize Riku is filthy rich, and the gateway to anything and everything they want!

As many of you know, I toyed back and forth with making Donut Delinquent a Light Novel (written story) before I settled on making it the comic it is today, and while I'm very happy I made that decision, I've still been getting the itch to test my writing mettle, toy with a story I can pump out a little quicker compared to a comic. This is the result of that. Expect written chapters with accompanying illustrations.

Gluttony Gals, like Donut Delinquent, is a Weight Gain romance story. But where Donut Delinquent deals with themes like Love triangles, the red string of fate and unrequited love, Gluttony Gals has major themes of manipulation and toxicity. Yui and Sakura manipulating Riku into buying them whatever they want, and eventually Riku turning their gluttony  back on them, intentionally making them fatter and fatter... all wrapped up in a 'false' romance.

This is a "Donut Delinquent Story" in the sense that it takes place in the same setting and time as Donut Delinquent, and there will be considerable cross-pollination between the two, sharing a supporting cast and some events intermingling. (though never to a point where one is required reading for the other, they will also stand on their own entirely!)

Now, as for a release timeline? As the title says, this is a pipeline project, and in very early development. Donut Delinquent took the better part of a year to truly get off the ground, and while this story isn't as much of a baggage-filled passion project mess for me, I still don't want to rush into it, especially when I've only just now gotten Donut Delinquent and TRT Sweets sailing out of their berths with relative comfort.

Burnout still looms over me like a metaphorical reaper, and I do not intend on over-burdening myself, despite how fun an idea may seem and how much I want to work on it now. So I'm putting a vague "Summer" release timeline on this, and will work on it when I feel like it in-between my other commitments.

Expect production updates every now and again leading up to the release, and when it does finally come out, it will be available to all Patrons like Donut Delinquent and the poll art.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you like what I'm cooking up!

I WAS wondering about Sakura's whereabouts, actually, haha after she didn't make an appearance in the lineup of Leo's new classmates. It's good to have her back!

Sounds awesome, dude! Just don't burn yourself out again lol

Thanks! And believe me, if burnout signs ever start appearing, this will be the first on the chopping block work-wise.

Oh excited for this one, as I remember the spoilers you posted from previous written novels were really good!!
