This is embarrassing. I'm not going to go into some huge tangent about why and all that, but the announcement I made last week regarding the comic was a premature decision, one that I've deleted.

This is not an announcement, as I'm still well, quite unsure of it, and I don't want to make the same mistake I did last week... but I think I'm going to try Donut Delinquent as a regular, text-based book series with plentiful illustrations, and I'm just going to have to fight my overstuffed ambition and hubris on wanting to make it a full-fledged comic.

Donut Delinquent is a big story, as those who I've shown the plot outline to can attest. (the plot outline alone is ten pages long!) Those same people have questioned my ability to accomplish it in comic form, and fool that I am, reassured them that I could. That was my hubris talking, and I should've taken their advice. The comments in last week's announcement thinking that I was changing plans to a book anyway should've been a sign.

I could wax further on about what a written version of the series would be like and my reasons for doing so and go on about my mental health blah blah blah but I'm not, I just wanted to give you guys an update on where the project is right now since I promised one. I'll be talking with some friends about this over the next few days, trying to get a good grasp on this before I make a decision on what to do next. Donut Delinquent is still happening though, I assure you that.

Hopefully I'll have it figured out by the next promised update (Two weeks from now.) For now, I hope you continue to enjoy the other art I post on here while I figure things out! For now, I'll leave you with a little scene I wanted to draw from further along in the story.

Enjoy, and thank you guys for continuing to bear with me. If you're sick of this, I understand completely lol.

As always, don’t worry about it. At the end of the day, it’s still Donut Delinquent no matter what form it takes. The (secondary) important thing is that we get a story and illustrations of Hana plumping up. The most is that you’re satisfied with the project. Not to be a sycophant, but you’re fine, mate. We’ll still be happy with the finished product regardless of what you decide to do with it.

Also, if the plot outline is ten pages long, a book involving illustrations sounds much more feasible.
