Long ago, their fates were intertwined.

A sick boy's gift of a meal to a hungry girl.

The sweet taste of that meal has remained with the girl for twelve years, a happy, warm feeling she hasn't been able to replicate since that day.

She's about to find that taste once more, wrapped in pink ribbons and hearts... and once she takes that first bite, she won't be able to get enough to satisfy her hunger. Both for the food itself, and the kindness of the boy.

I'm proud to finally properly announce in full Donut Delinquent, a new, long-form Weight Gain Romance comic by yours truly. Born from the ashes of failed series IN-FAT-UATION and Kabocha Academy Curves Club, this has turned into an intense passion project for me, something I've put more heart and soul into than any of my previous works.

Long-time followers of mine will know I've been working on this in one form or another since around September 2020, when I realized continuing to pursue the Kabocha Academy concept was foolish. It's evolved quite a bit since the idea first hit me, the planned format going back and forth between comic and book, and the story itself undergoing multiple rewrites, with characters and plot points changing numerous times...

The plan has remained consistent for a few months though, and my motivation and optimism for it has grown as well in that time, so I've finally decided to get the ball rolling for it!

Of course, I'm well aware there will be some hesitation to get invested in another series by me, considering my track record. And that's entirely understandable, I wouldn't have much faith in me either! But like I said, I'm optimistic. The two biggest reasons for that optimism are simple: focus and pacing.

Donut Delinquent is focused on the romance of Hana and Leo, and the weight gain of Hana. This is not some ridiculous overstuffed harem story like my previous works where I'm focusing on the romance arc of 2-5 girls and tracking weight gain for all of them. Why I attempted something so ridiculously ambitious, twice no less, is beyond me.

This is a story about ONE romance, and ONE character gaining weight. That's not to say there won't be other plus-sized characters in the story, some of them former characters from my previous works, but they are NOT the focus and you should not go into this story expecting me to focus on them gaining weight if their name isn't Hana Hara.

As for the second point, pacing is a big thing for me now. I'm not going to do pages non-stop and burn myself out like I did with previous projects. At least for now, I only expect to do one page of Donut Delinquent a week, barring the first post which will likely be 3-4 pages at once since I want the first scene to be complete. I'm not saying I might not do more when I've got the creative energy, but yeah. Weekly content from me will be a page of DD, and then whatever other Patreon perk I'm focusing on that week.

That's enough with the serious talk though! Now onto some more fun info:

Every page of DD will be fully colored and shaded of course, like my previous works! I've really been trying to push my style recently, drawing better hair and eyes in particular, and I hope it shows through!

I'm still working on getting character reference sheets done, and that will likely make up the bulk of June's DD Patreon content. Expect a full look at Hana today or tomorrow! The comic itself will either be launching towards the end of June, or to kick off July. (with it starting on Deviantart in August.)

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy the story when it starts! This has truly become a passion project for me, and I hope you all become as invested in the story as I have!

EDIT: I want to make it clear that I'm the kind of person who uses old OCs in new settings. Donut Delinquent may feature the likes of Leo and Hana, but this story has no ties to IN-FAT-UATION, Kabocha Academy Curves Club, or any other story I've told in the past. This is a new canon.
