character dynamic rambling lol (Patreon)

No new art (just got a pet gecko lol) but I wanted to do a little bit of writing on the character dynamics of the core cast. It seems like the only thing that's been gaining a ton of weight recently is the story itself, judging by that "Class of 20xx" picture I posted last update that had like twenty characters in it. It's all too easy to get carried away with this kind of thing, coming up with side stories and new characters every day lol. Just trying to focus, remind myself that the core of this story is these six characters, and the "culinary club" they all meet in after school...

Anyway, as for the character dynamics...

Leo isn't a super fat-fetishist. He just wants people to eat his cooking. Micah meanwhile, is a complete pervert fat-fetishist. Knowing that one thing will help the other, they decide to start the Curv-uh... Culinary Club.

• Leo has a crush on Lisbeth, Lisbeth has a crush on Leo. It's love at first sight.
• Kimi has a crush on Leo too, but struggles to keep it subdued knowing how happy Lisbeth is. But Kimi has spent her entire life taking care of Lisbeth... isn't it her turn?
• Micah has a crush on Kimi, considering her to be the "perfect woman" (with a few more pounds...) but Kimi acts as if he doesn't exist.
• Sakura meanwhile, has a crush on Micah, with Micah acting as if she doesn't exist. After she finds out about his fetish, she decides to start eating 24/7...
• Hana doesn't care about any relationship mumbo-jumbo, and only attends the Club for good food she wouldn't otherwise be able to get. Micah hates her being there. To everyone else, he'd say it's because of her bad attitude, but internally, the perv just hates that she's taking a share of food away from the more "curve-balanced" girls in the club. Hana meanwhile, can see straight through him, recognizing why the club exists (To fatten these girls up like pigs). She doesn't care, as long as the food Leo cooks is good. The two spend all day squabbling, and everyone (Except Sakura) is convinced one day it's just gonna end with them making out.
• Where's Yui? She's still a character, and will play a part in Hana's arc... but I decided that she's ultimately kind of redundant. I took away Kimi's attraction to Leo after how hard I went with it in IN-FAT-UATION and gave it to Yui, when I really should've just toned it down for Kimi, as I was recently struggling to think of things to do with Kimi. Besides, while they aren't as big as the ones I drew for Yui, Kimi checks off the "boob-heavy" quota for the group already anyway lol.

KACC is a weird one, I admit. It's a fat fetish comic at it's core, but I also want it to be a good, interesting romance series as well, heavily inspired by one of my favorite series, Toradora. Honestly, I care about the romance story more than the fattening. That being said, I wouldn't enjoy drawing it even half as much if they weren't all extra thicc lol, so it works out just fine haha, even if I do have a smaller audience as a result.
