Thicker Treat July 2024 Newsletter (Patreon)

Oh wow, the year is already half over?! I can't lie, the first half of the year was pretty rough for me. I had a lot going in my personal life and increased demands at work, which made it so I couldn't draw, the thing that makes me truly happy. Things are looking up though, and I'm starting to set goals for myself that I hope to make real progress towards by New Year 2025.

I want to really start devoting more time and energy to my Patreon. I really love working on it, and would dearly love to get to a point where I could treat this as my full time job. Family always takes priority, but I'd really like not having to put this aside for a day job I don't enjoy nearly as much. It takes a lot of work to grow, though!

Getting the Discord server up and running was my first real step towards that growth, and I'm so glad I decided to finally get it started! Comments here are one thing, but it's so incredibly encouraging to see people having full, engaging conversations about the work I do, analyzing and crafting theories for my stories! It's giving me motivation to draw that I've never quite had before!

On to project updates:

Donut Delinquent- Chapter 11 "Hybrid Rainbow" has just started! This will be a shorter 20 page chapter, though it's just the start of a 2-3 chapter story arc. Very pleased to say that over the course of these next couple chapters, we're going to start seeing tangible weight gain for certain characters! Also expect new and interesting character interactions we haven't seen yet!

Voluptuous Vacation: Hoping to finish Chapter 1 sometime this month! The comic has had a very slow start, but I'm hoping to pick up the pace in this second half of the year! Expect a surprise appearance at the end of the chapter!

Donut Holes: Would like to get one of these out this month, ideally another page of "Masako's High School Years." Would also like to do a follow up to the Genderswap AU.

Fat Fan Art: Would like for this to be a more regular feature, weekly would be nice but I'm not making promises. Expect a split between normal fan art and NSFW.
