Hello Friends!

We're all set to record another podcast but would love some more questions from you lovely lot.  This is for the TripleJump Podcast! Remember, as our esteemed financial supporters, we'll be exclusively coming to you for weekly discussion topics, so please read the following guidelines before submitting:

- No controversial or naughty questions please

- This is a video game podcast about video games so please keep the questions video-game-related

- Going forwards, we'd love it if you can base your questions on any video game news that drops in the week. It doesn't just have to be big serious stories though, so ask us about anything you find on the web. While we will still answer non-news questions from time to time, we're hoping that with a different focus we can avoid repetition.

- If there's a particular event or happening in the industry that you'd like us to discuss in detail, feel free! We like to address one 'big question' per week to headline each show, and pepper in smaller questions throughout

- Try to avoid topics we've covered before

- "Questions on a postcard" (don't make your question too long!)

- We typically record on Thursday morning, so try to get your questions in by Wednesday afternoon!

Thanks all! We look forward to reading through your offerings, and we can't overstate how much we appreciate your support on Patreon and elsewhere!

love ya <3

Hi BAP! The ESA has finally confirmed the news we've all been pretty sure of for a few years already - E3 is no more, and will not be returning. It's been such a slow death that everyone's already done their eulogies, so I won't make you repeat yourselves. Instead, I wanted to ask what you think this holds for the future of Geoff's various shows that have sort of taken E3's place. Summer Game Fest and the Game Awards exist solely because of his industry connections, and Gamescom Opening Night came off the back of TGA's success. What happens in the future, if/when the industry as a whole gets bored of being upstaged by Hideo Kojima, or the Honkai Star Rail money dries up? Could all these announcement shows go the way of E3 in time as well?

Hi BAP! My topic this week is around the recent launch of The Day Before and then immediate closure of the studio behind it (“Fntastic”). To recap, the game entered early access after a number of delays, and what was released was very far from the promised product, with Fntastic shutting their doors only four days after launch, citing bankruptcy, and claiming that the funds acquired through sales were going towards paying off their debts. Should the likes of Steam be more guarded with the ability for studios to launch a product in early access? Should they be carrying out more due diligence on developers/publishers in an effort to protect consumers? Or will this approach simply harm indie developers? Much love - Robyn 🖤
