Hello Friends!

We're all set to record another podcast but would love some more questions from you lovely lot.  This is for the TripleJump Podcast! Remember, as our esteemed financial supporters, we'll be exclusively coming to you for weekly discussion topics, so please read the following guidelines before submitting:

- No controversial or naughty questions please

- This is a video game podcast about video games so please keep the questions video-game-related

- Going forwards, we'd love it if you can base your questions on any video game news that drops in the week. It doesn't just have to be big serious stories though, so ask us about anything you find on the web. While we will still answer non-news questions from time to time, we're hoping that with a different focus we can avoid repetition.

- If there's a particular event or happening in the industry that you'd like us to discuss in detail, feel free! We like to address one 'big question' per week to headline each show, and pepper in smaller questions throughout

- Try to avoid topics we've covered before

- "Questions on a postcard" (don't make your question too long!)

- We typically record on Thursday morning, so try to get your questions in by Wednesday afternoon!

Thanks all! We look forward to reading through your offerings, and we can't overstate how much we appreciate your support on Patreon and elsewhere!

love ya <3

Hi BAP, The emergence of stage invaders is a concerning trend During Gamescom ONL, an individual once again rushed the stage after a similar incident occurred at the Game Awards 2022. This unfortunate pattern is detracting from the rightful moment of recognition for developers, all for the sake of fleeting online attention. Regrettably, this is what the events are being remembered for. Evidently, the security measures in place were inadequate. The microphone could have easily been seized from Keighley, potentially leading to more sinister outcomes. There's a possibility that an individual could sneak in a weapon or purposefully target someone present at the event. This concern is particularly relevant in the United States. Allowing such situations to escalate could result in injuries or even fatalities. Following the recent Gamescom incident, it's evident that these stage invaders are well aware of how much they can push the limits. Is there a solution?, do we stop these in person events, make them developer only or features guards on stage at all times to avoid the next escalation ? Kind regards Cameron J Keywood

Dearest Ashton, Peter and Ben, Gamescom and been and gone and I think we’ve probably seen all the games that we’ll be getting in 2023. Thinking about this, what style of game do you think needs to go away for a bit and what sort of game needs to make a return? Thanks, Richard

Hi BAP With Baldur's Gate being delayed on Xbox and Sony finding themselves in the hilarious coincidence of having a direct competitor in Starfield release, I can only imagine how difficult bossaroos are finding it picking between these two games. September in general feels like I need a month off work with Baldur's gate, Starfield, Mortal Kombat and Lies of P coming out within a few weeks of each other! My question for you all is what is the most difficult time period you can remember of having games you really wanted to play and trying to figure out how to divide time between them? If I can also get a additional cheeky question, which are you prioritising between Starfield and Baldur's gate?

(copying from last week as I didn't know you were recording early and missed the cutoff) Hi BAP, (Sorry, it's more MS/ActiBlizz news) The UK CMA's rejection of the acquisition hinged on their concerns of Microsoft dominating the cloud gaming market. To get around this, they've now announced that the cloud streaming rights for every game published by Activision Blizzard will instead be held by Ubisoft. Do you think this will be enough to satisfy the CMA's concerns? Are Microsoft looking to get their hands on Ubisoft next? Can we get any more massive companies involved in this kerfuffle? https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/ubisoft-set-to-buy-cloud-streaming-rights-to-activision-blizzard-games-from-microsoft

Hellooooo BAP! I’ve noticed that certain fandoms for some games can be annoying to downright creepy at times (sonic fans anyone?). Which fandoms do you find completely insufferable and do you think theres a particular reason for it?
