And here we are. Thank you to everyone who provided their favourite games in the comments of the previous post - now it's time to get voting!

Where's BF2042?

Going with Metroid Dread. Hadn't played it since the first round of voting, but have been thoroughly enjoying it for the last week. It's refreshing to play a Metroid game that has actually acknowledged and has been directly inspired by Metroid Fusion. The E.M.M.I.s are annoying, but not nearly as deal-breaking as Mr. X from RE2 (I meant what I said). Great combat mechanics, satisfying exploration, fantastic atmosphere, solid pacing. Deserves more love, for sure. But also wanna give a shoutout to Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One in the name of acknowledging indie devs with unique (if sometimes uneven) visions.
