Hello Patrons!

We're all set to record another podcast but would love some more questions from the listeners.  Remember, as our esteemed financial supporters, we'll be exclusively coming to you for weekly discussion topics, so please read the following guidelines before submitting:

- No controversial or naughty questions please

- This is a video game podcast about video games so please keep the questions video-game-related

- If there's a particular event or happening in the industry that you'd like us to discuss in detail, feel free! We like to address one 'big question' per week to headline each show, and pepper in smaller questions throughout

- Try to avoid topics we've covered before

- "Questions on a postcard" (don't make your question too long!)

- We ask for questions on Tuesday and typically record on Thursday morning, so try to get your questions in before then

- If your question isn't answered, don't despair! We keep a log of all questions and sometimes sub in older ones, so it could be answered in a future episode

Thanks all! We look forward to reading through your offerings, and we can't overstate how much we appreciate your support on Patreon and elsewhere!

love ya <3

Hello Ashton, Ben and Peter. I was watching the Paralympic Games the other day and was thinking that it's a shame that they unfortunately don't get the attention that they deserve. It got me wondering if having a video game presence would help shed a light on it. I'm not talking about a full fledged game but rather DLC or in the future a separate game mode. I know the it might be difficult to find ways to make the events feel similar to their real-life counter parts but I think game developers could be able to. For example as someone who used to play sledgehockey (or Para Ice Hockey if you want to get British about it) I'd love it if you could be able to play even a small 3 on 3 version of the sport. In the real sport you move around the ice with a small hockey stick in each hand and then changing your grip and pointing the sticks down to handle the puck. I think you could map this to the shoulder buttons (left side left hand, right side right hand) easily, where the triggers control the movement of the player and the buttons control the puck control element. Obviously more thought would have to go into the rest of the controls but I feel that it's a good proof of concept. So after that long winded speech I'd like to ask you all if you think a Paralympic tie-in game would be viable? Keep up the great work! Jason.

Hello Ben, Ashton and Peter, You bought up how Resident Evil main characters are always immune to the virus that's turning everyone around them into monsters in the last podcast. Unfortunately Resi isn't the only series to ignore that inconsistency in the game play; I can only recall three titles myself that do address that issue. -Extermination(a PS2 horror title that recently got highlighted on your 10 Games That Ripped Off Movies video.) -Scurge: Hive(An under-rated Metroidvania GBA title) -Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City(A title) I feel like infection management in a viral outbreak scenario is an under-utilized system, but what unique mechanisms from games would you like to see used more often? Thank you all for your wonderful and entertaining work.
