Hello Patrons!

We're all set to record another podcast but would love some more questions from the listeners. If you've already asked a podcast question that has not yet been answered, you don't need to ask it again, as we have made a note of all our favourite submissions and hope to address them in future episodes.

Remember, as our esteemed financial supporters, we'll be exclusively coming to you for weekly discussion topics, so please read the following guidelines before submitting:

- No controversial or naughty questions please

- This is a video game podcast about video games so please keep the questions video-game-related

- If there's a particular event or happening in the industry that you'd like us to discuss in detail, feel free! We like to address one 'big question' per week to headline each show, and pepper in smaller questions throughout

- Try to avoid topics we've covered before

- "Questions on a postcard" (don't make your question too long!)

- We ask for questions on Tuesday and typically record on Thursday morning, so try to get your questions in before then

- If your question isn't answered, don't despair! We keep a log of all questions and sometimes sub in older ones, so it could be answered in a future episode

Thanks all! We look forward to reading through your offerings, and we can't overstate how much we appreciate your support on Patreon and elsewhere!

- Peter and Ben

What do you think of the Bethesda merger with Microsoft? Both companies have a history of making...less-than-ideal decisions, but they're definitely big players. Do you think this will give Microsoft an edge over Sony? Do you think this will encourage Bethesda to release games in better launch states?

Hey guys, I got back into gaming during Covid and recently have been gaming online more often than I ever have before. Something I noticed though with a couple games and certain companies is an online account outside of my PSN account is now needed to access their games even after I have paid full price for the game. It feels like the games are now withheld from me unless I fork over personal information to receive what feels like loot box offers and copious amounts of emails. I don't care about this and just want to enjoy an online game with friends (or even solo) but can't now without these extra accounts. Do you think this will trend up with more companies taking on this mantle or do you think it will only be the select few that clearly just care about the money and not the user experience? Currently I have taken to making account names making fun of the company as a passive aggressive middle finger to this, but also this is a make or break for me personally and if more companies start doing this I will just stop gaming over all. Appreciate everything, you guys are truly the best. (Feel free to condense this question as needed.)
