Hello Patrons!

We're all set to record another podcast but would love some more questions from the listeners. If you've already asked a podcast question that has not yet been answered, you don't need to ask it again, as we have made a note of all our favourite submissions and hope to address them in future episodes.

Remember, as our esteemed financial supporters, we'll be exclusively coming to you for weekly discussion topics, so please read the following guidelines before submitting:

- No controversial or naughty questions please

- This is a video game podcast about video games so please keep the questions video-game-related

- If there's a particular event or happening in the industry that you'd like us to discuss in detail, feel free! We like to address one 'big question' per week to headline each show, and pepper in smaller questions throughout

- Try to avoid topics we've covered before

- "Questions on a postcard" (don't make your question too long!)

- We ask for questions on Tuesday and typically record on Thursday morning, so try to get your questions in before then

- If your question isn't answered, don't despair! We keep a log of all questions and sometimes sub in older ones, so it could be answered in a future episode

Thanks all! We look forward to reading through your offerings, and we can't overstate how much we appreciate your support on Patreon and elsewhere!

- Peter and Ben

Much like your Rules Boss series, a lot of people like to self-impose fun challenges on themselves within games. What are the greatest or silliest challenges that you've either done yourself or seen others do? This question comes from watching another youtuber (CallMeKevin) try to win CoD: Warzone without hurting anyone.

Hey Boys, I was wondering what you feel are some of the most influential games consoles? I feel the PS2 did alot for gaming, with its 13 year production line, great games, online multiplayer & backwards compatibility. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hello Ben and Peter! Really loved your discussion of the PS5 reveal on last weeks podcast. I was intrigued to see that there will be two versions of the console. One with a disc drive and one exclusively for digital only games. My question for you guys is: do you think physical media is on its way out? I love collecting physical versions of games, movies, CDs, etc., but I’ll be sad to see those phased out as I think future generations of consoles will be for digital games only. I’ll be getting the PS5 that has the disc drive to continue collecting physical versions of video games. Keep up the excellent work you boys have been doing! -Steven Scodes

Hi guys, I just finished God of War for the first time, fantastic game. I still had a few hours of my gaming day left so i thought i would try to make some progress on FF7 remake. Once i started FF7 though something was wrong, the dramatic tonal shift from GoW to FF7 was so dramatic for me that i could not enjoy the game. I had to force myself to play for 15min before i gave up entirely. Have you guys ever had this problem? Is there a pallet cleanse genre of game or is that something or time can help with? Is the idea of what a pallet cleanse is subjective to each person? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks guys, you're the best.

Hey lads, Not directly a gaming question but are there any gaming youtubers you guys watch, or particular types of content you enjoy like let’s plays, speedruns, or Roblox school roleplays etc. You know normal stuff like that. Stay well and keep up the excellent work, David

Hi all Time to play PS5 price bingo. I'm thinking digital at £499 and full fat at £549. What's your guesses. Merry Triplejumpmas.

If you had children, and you wanted to raise them on video games by making them work their way up through the video game generations from the beginning, what game(s) from each generation would need to be included in their lengthy video game education: Atari 2600 NES SNES/Mega-drive PS1/N64 PS2/XBOX/Dreamcast PS3/XB360/Wii/Wii U PS4/XB1/Switch

Hello gentlemen, I hope all is treating you well. My question has to do with the recently announced Star Wars: Squadrons. The game was leaked to cost $30 and being released with only two multiplayer modes. Is this going to be yet another example of EA monetizing a Star Wars game for a quick buck? Or will we see something more out of it? Thanks gents!

Nintendo did a little Pokemon direct today showing off a few new things, most excitingly a Pokemon snap sequel. The first thing they showed was a free app called Pokemon smile, designed to encourage children (and man (OR WOMAN) children such as myself) to brush their teeth properly. In this vain, what do You think about the potential for gaming to encourage healthy habits?

Have you ever lost a save file for a game you thoroughly enjoyed before you beat the game , Then had trouble picking that game back up?

As an Xbox owner since the original, I feel I am supported by fact that Sony and the PS3, PS4, and upcoming PS5, all have, or will have, the best exclusives of their respective generations. It isn't even close, and it is something that has lead to me deciding to get a PS5 over the next Xbox. Why do you think their is such a disparity in the quality of the Playstation's exclusives compared to the Xbox's, and why do we have exclusives at all? Seems like a bad deal for the developers and publishers, limiting themselves and their revenue to only one of 4 platforms.
