Discord Voice Chat! - 28th May 2020 (Patreon)

Hello $10+ Patrons!

It's Discord chat time! We'll be live and ready to take your calls at 11am BST on Thursday the 28th May. We'll have an hour and a half to chat, so please try to prepare your questions and keep them concise so we can get round everyone!

Don't worry if you can't make it to this one, as we'll endeavour to change to a different day and time for the next call at the end of next month! 

The voice chat room will become visible in the room list just before 11am. Try to arrive ahead of time to ensure that your username is pink (denoting the Walrus Child role), or else you won't be able to enter the room. Let us know via Discord DM if it is not.

It's important that we're all on the same page in relation to how the session is going to work, so please read the following rules below. If you don't conduct yourself in the manner that we request, it's not going to be enjoyable for everyone involved and so you may be kicked from the room and possibly banned.

1 - First and foremost, all our usual Discord rules apply. These can be found in the info-and-rules room on our Discord server

2 - The room could become rather busy and loud if lots of people turn up, but we want everyone to have the chance to speak to us properly. Therefore, the chat will be structured much like a phone-in show. Therefore, we ask that you mute your microphone upon entering the room. We will then invite one person at a time to unmute themselves and hit us with their questions or comments

3 - While our podcast is exclusively video-game-related, we welcome you to ask us anything you like on Discord, provided it doesn't contravene point 1 above. We only request that you steer clear of asking about our experiences at previous ventures. We've already addressed this many times in various videos, podcasts and social media posts, so we'd much rather spend the time talking about other things
