More progress towards the VN, as well as fashion for Mae!

In this week I spent a good chunk of it learning more about marvelous designer, a clothing software I've been using for a while now, but I've never taken the time to learn things properly. I feel I've at least grasped some of it by now, managing to fit some clothing for Mae that I feel suit her laid back demeanour. To showcase it a little I've included some of the sprites or character art that will go in the VN for Mae! (subject to change)

The visual novel itself has been a learning curve, not just the programming but also putting together enviroments and getting assets etc.

Here is the traveling map system, allowing for you to travel around town and meet characters and events!

Talking to characters and all the typical VN stuff!

The ability to wait for different times of day, enabling different events to happen at different locations, like meeting someone or other secrets! Some places like the store or the library only open/close at specific times. Doing things will also advance time!

At the end of the day when you have run out of time, you go to sleep! Depending on what day it might be since you started, some special event might happen the next day!

As you might see the UI is a little rough around the edges, I've also included a video showcasing the game a little better. I'm happy with what I've managed to make so far, I'm enjoying making it despite some of it being kinda tedious. For next week I'm going to try to make some of the other characters featured in the VN!
