w/@baldwinner. I gotta say, Covid-world lifestyle really aligns with a lot of my vision of an ideal lifestyle. Working in my pajamas, pup by my side 24/7, places starting to offer delivery that didn't before (and getting everything delivered), always having an excuse not to leave the house that no one will argue with, people being mandated to stay out of my personal space wherever I go, and much more. But, I haven't shot photos with another human in nearly a year - which is the longest I've ever gone without creating this art. I used to joke "who needs a photographer?" when I was really proud of my self portraits. Well, I do. And not because I can't take decent photos all by myself, but because part of my motivation and inspiration is derived from the chemistry between me and the photographer. When you look at my photos, you think you're just seeing me, but you're also seeing the inspiration that's been sparked in me by the person behind the lens in that moment.

Life update: I've felt guilty not posting, but I think about you guys all the time. The majority of my creativity has been pouring into DIY projects in my apartment and I actually feel pretty damn handy these days. I've promised myself after this post I will make sure I continue posting at least once a week, so here we go! Welcome to the clusterfuck, enjoy the shitshow.

Welcome back! There is something to be said for that creator/photographer connection that can create magic greater than the sum of its parts.
