I’ve lived in San Francisco for just over 3 years, and I’m officially living in my fourth apartment here. I know, I’m crazy, right?

My roommate moved out from my first place here, leading me to find a studio. That studio started expensive, got more expensive, and was so small I was more in the habit of calling it a room than an apartment. So I moved to a cheaper, slightly larger place in a somewhat less desirable area, but still surrounded by cool bars and restaurants and things to do…. right before the lockdown.

I actually loved this apartment. It had amazing light (that I hated most mornings but was great for shooting), enough space for Roxie and I, and great bay windows. But it was downtown so I could be close to work, and now without an office and most things closed, it wasn’t worth the constant noise and sketchiness.

Moving is a giant pain in the ass and it’s expensive af. But, one upside has become somewhat of a tradition — a completely empty space to shoot in! I really will miss this place, and even though the all-day-sun made it nearly unbearable on hot days, it also made for some pretty stellar shots. I took this set about an hour before I turned in my keys and it felt like the right way to close out my time there.

Also - I usually group similar photos together, but I thought this one would be more fun to scroll through a bit mixed up. Tell me what you think :)
