Alright so here's the deal. I've had this idea in my head for a long time. Those of you who've followed me long enough are probably sick of hearing about it lol. But I didn't know quite how to execute it with limited space in my apartment and my makeshift studio. I took some tulle and painted it blue, made the clouds out of lanterns and pillow filling, tied fishing line to them, and then all of it sat in a pile in the corner of my room for weeks. I played between using natural light and the super yellow synthetic light on my ceiling after the sun went down. Well that was a mistake because I ended up with a ton of variation in the final photos and as someone who is very limited in editing abilities, I had to edit all the variations in light differently. I was able to get the edit I had in my head out of the first 4 you see, and the rest were really a compromise. I decided to make this a 2 part post so you could enjoy my favorite ones first, and I'll post my least favorite edits next.

What do you use for editing? I think you did really well with art look of the colored ones, and different lighting and colors on 5 and 6 I personally like just as much as the first ones. Probably you are just missing a trick or two to make everything look like you want ;)

You're probably right! I use Lightroom but I only know some basics. Other than that I kind of just mess with different things until I get to something I like. But if I try to do something, for example messing with specific color saturation or hues, and it doesn't work (like the color doesn't change) I don't know why or an alternative to it.

They're all interesting in their own way... but the first 4 you totally look like paintings. Nice work!
