Even though this lost to Mass Destruction, it was a really close call... just a testament to how great Persona music is. I really love how upbeat this song is. The lyrics also do a great job of pumping you up. One of the best things about this battle theme is timing your all-out-attack to come out when Shihoko sings, "Step on up... to the plate~" Also, funny thing about the lyrics: Shihoko sings, "Cause this ain't no game... it's time to make history" but we're quite literally playing a video game when she says this. Anyhow, with P5 Strikers on the way, I'm going to try to start focusing on their soundtrack soon! I've been getting a lot of requests for Strikers OST since the Japanese release so I know there's a lot of hype for these tracks... I just hope I can deliver!
