The first time I heard it was in LyricWulf's April Fools prank SYNTHESIA ENGINE X teaser video. Even though I was disappointed that the program didn't really exist, I coudn't help but notice how amazing the trailer music was! And eventually SYNTHESIA ENGINE X evolved into Embers so everything worked out!
