I hope you all enjoyed the holidays, and the ending of "Happy Wife, Happy Life". This update hopes to clarify what you can expect from me in the future, and also offer an explanation for the prolonged "dead air" in between posts.

Last year I had a serious crash in productivity and overall desire to make art. I gave it my all to provide you with the bare minimum that you deserve for your generous contributions to my Patreon. Even though I tried to keep posting new content, I could never quite keep up. So in light of this, I decided I may not be cut out for making this sort of art as a living (or at least, not within the constraints of a weekly production cycle). So, some of you may be wondering, how does that affect you?

The Patreon as we know it will transition from a live service to more of a tip jar. I will consolidate all benefits to a single tier so those who choose to donate can access the full catalog without the hassle of selecting the tier of interest. The biggest change is that I will not be creating new content exclusively for Patreon anymore. If I do upload content, it will be in the interest of archiving it with the things I have already made. Since I will be treating this more as a hobby in the future, you can expect future uploads to be spread amongst my Deviantart, Twitter, and whatever other platform I am interested at the time. Patreon and Gumroad will be limited to completed works that I believe merit some compensation.

Will the current content on Patreon/Gumroad remain exclusive to paid members? Not exactly. I plan on uploading my whole body of work on my free platforms over a period of time. There is a sizable backlog to get through, and part of the reason for these changes is to enable me to explore other subjects. I would like to really understand what I want to be doing with my time, for better or worse.

In the immediate future, I plan on creating a cover for the last issue of HWHL. Then I will compile it into a pdf that will be available at Gumroad for purchase, just like the other issues. Likewise, it will be available on Patreon in a collected form that will be easier to read from start to finish. The timeline for all these plans is not written in stone, but my hope is to complete the major parts of these plans by the end of January or early February.

I am very grateful for what we have made here, but I just don't have the stuff. Thank you for your understanding and all your contributions. Without you, my life would have turned out drastically different. I hope you stay tuned for what's to come!
