For the Liz part, all the questions are in Jeju dialect which is very difficult to understand for most Koreans (some linguists argue that it's technically a different language). Liz grew up in Jeju Island, so she understands the questions while everyone else in the room does not.

i don't think being a kpop fan necessarily means you have to learn the language?? if the content is accessible in english there isn't any real need to learn the language unless you want to, plus learning a language takes a lot of time and effort- especially korean which is so different to english in terms of grammar/vocab/etc. i've been a kpop fan for 6 years but i don't have much interest in learning korean, mainly cause i'm already studying japanese that being said, i do think learning hangul would be really helpful, and it's actually much easier than it seems. i spent only 30 mins learning it a few months ago and practice by watching variety content and it's made it SOOOO much easier, though i still take a while to read lol

I've been meaning to get you this clip, but forgot until today. Chimchakman set up his sister (who jokingly claims that she looks like Liz) couple weeks before this interview by telling her that he's going to treat her like a real idol for a whole day (literally took her to the same makeup/hair stylist that Liz uses), and even took her to the Starship office room... where Liz was waiting for an interview with them XD https://youtu.be/BhnYPkxp178 Honestly, I can see the resemblance :D. And she is a confirmed fanatic Dive. She was so upset when Chimchakman told her he already met IVE in the prerecorded interview (that he didn't tell her about at all), and heard both Kitsch and I AM like weeks before she did. XD
