HEY HUNS! You all well?! Excited for September?!

Continuing with our donation program! Thanks to everyone's support last month, we were able to donate to two organizations this time ;v;!

One we already know which is Casa 1 that helps with the LGBTQ+ community, mainly offering shelter, amenities and help (social, legal and healthcare) for queer youth who have been kicked out of their homes; and this is the first time we're donating to Compassiva!

I researched organizations in Brazil that had causes that aligned with the themes or characters present in Asking You and that seemed to have a good reputation! Compassiva ended up being the one that I felt that aligned better with the themes of the comic and that I felt that was actually putting the work behind the words! They are an organization that focuses on helping children, women and refugees in vulnerable conditions. They offer portuguese classes, legal assistance, help women and refugees apply for regulated jobs and also teach them how to apply for financial assistance or any other assistance provided by the government. Their mission is to help refugees to become integrated, both socially and legally, in the brazillian society so they can have a better chance at starting fresh here. And another really awesome thing they do is that they have women only portuguese classes reserved for arab women. They've received the Seal of Human Rights and Diversity for the State of Sao Paulo in both 2020 and 2021 which recognizes the effects of the hard work they've been doing!

And that's it! A really HUGENORMOUS thank you to everyone who support me here and allow me, not to only keep working on something I absolutely love which is creating art and telling stories, but also to donate and help these organizations who really do the hard work to make the world a better place ;v;! SO REALLY THANK YOU ALL!

And for transparency sake, both organizations received the same amount of 500BRL (around 95~100USD)! In total, 1000BRL (190~200USD) was donated this month ;v;!
