1 Year Anniversary!!! (Patreon)

Before we start the post, I have a quick announcement for you all:

We are thrilled to be celebrating the 1 year anniversary of PocketSweeties today! It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come in just one year. AP and I started this journey back in August 2023 with our first character, Thicc The Bat. In December, Deekays joined our team and really made PocketSweeties the game that it is today. Without his help, we wouldn't have been able to make it this far.

For this post, I wanted to do something a little bit different. I collected a bunch of content that we normally show to our Backstage Pass subscribers on Discord. I'm going to warn you, though. Most of the things you are going to see are going to be highly cursed. We like to shitpost a lot on Discord, haha. So please enjoy these weird and funny images we have made during the development of the game.

Let's start with some cut content. Every game has cut content, and in general, we don't have a lot of this. But we thought it might be interesting to see. Some might be wondering if these will ever be put into the game. And the only thing I can say is maybe?

This was a potential goblin skin option for the Twilight Imp scene.

The week before Easter came around, we decided to do an unplanned event. We originally wanted to make bunny costumes for every girl (see mockup above), but ended up not having enough time to actually make them. We settled on only adding bunny ears. Who knows, maybe next year?

This was a paper bag item for the Twilight Imp scene. We had trouble making it work because her head was too big for the bag. So we ended up scrapping it.

This is a boob-drop animation that AP was working on. We wanted to make more Twitter content to hopefully grow a bigger following. However, we weren't satisfied with the character design/ face and ended up putting it on hold.

We originally had the idea of putting the wooden shield in front of the imp. But because of sorting layer issues, we had to scrap it. Though, we did figure out how to fix this problem, perhaps in the future this could be an option. I'm not sure if this is sexy or just funny...

The pregnant belly originally had a tattoo design on it. But I didn't really like how it looked, so we removed it.

This isn't cut content but actually content from our PocketSweeties demo. We needed to find a way to showcase the other poses in certain scenes and thought it would be funny to do it like this.

That was all the cut content that we had. I think the goblin lovers lost the most here, hahah.

Now let's take a look at the most cursed things we have made during our development of PocketSweeties. There are a lot of things to show. So most of these will be posted without context. These images are mostly work in progress things, us messing around in Unity, shitposts or things breaking in scenes, resulting in some pretty cursed things.
