Lacklon the Dwarf (Patreon)

If you aren't aware already, there is a new DragonAge anime on Netflix called DragonAge: Absolution. It's a good show so far (3 eps. in), loving the fluid animation, world of course as I loved the games, and there's another reason too. Minor spoiler, but also a pretty good reason to check it out, and that's that this handsome dwarf here, Lacklon, is actually gay and has a really nice arc of getting to know another male member of his team better. ;) This is literally the first time in my life where I've seen a surly, gay dwarf in something animated and it makes me so, so happy. :) Admittedly, in the show his design is MUCH prettier, but you know me, I have to make my dwarven fellas bulky, hairy and enhance their beards!

Note: The show is as good as any of the recent animated fantasy shows (Dota: Dragon's Blood, Legend of Vox Machina, etc.) but it's getting review bombed by shitty, close-minded imbeciles for 'pushing the woke agenda' blah blah homophobic idiotic reasons we've all heard a million times before, so I ask that if you like the show at all, leave a good review. I personally want to see more shows like this one, with characters that make us feel seen.
