It Makes Pappy Happy (Patreon)

A very handsome old dog, Pappy Van Poodle, who was brought to my attention by my friend Pa Wolf awhile back. He's a kind, neighborly character in the DS game Rusty's Real Deal Baseball. He has a cute mentor relationship with Rusty the dog next door, helping him out in various ways, even bringing him flowers... There might be something more going on.

My favorite part in learning about Pappy is that we almost never got to know he existed at all! He is so obscure and difficult to meet even in the game he's from! What do you guys think of this style btw? I did simple charcoal lines and colored with crayons. (digitally) I think it's really cute for simpler cartoon characters like this.
