If Finley's suggestion to leave our normal patrol route had struck me as odd, his decision to strip out of his armor when we reached the cove just about blew my mind! He left just his obsidian dagger at his hip, but let the rest gently sink to the bottom nearby. It wouldn't do to be completely defenseless this far out from the city after all, sharkmen and giant octopuses were always a threat.

"Finley, what are you...?" I asked, a bit dumbfounded.

He smiled back at me broadly. "Are you going to pretend you haven't wanted some naked alone time with me for awhile?"

I blinked at him as his erection bobbed in the sun-dappled sea. "N-no, I just, why now?" I asked as I swam closer to his strong, stocky body.

"Does it matter?" He said simply. "For now, just take a swim with me."
