Barret Wallace (Patreon)

As many times as I played Final Fantasy 7 back in the day, once I learned (accidentally) that you could go on a date with Barret, I made sure to do so on every subsequent playthrough! I really liked how many characters in this game were a departure from Square's soon-to-be-the-norm androgynous 18-yr old model. This burly dude was often on my final team too, if only cuz his final limit break actually broke that awful 9999 damage ceiling! (background taken from the game!)
