Never Insult a Repecki [Chapter 5] (Patreon)

Hey there folks, I'm back with the fifth installment in the Repecki saga. Chapter 5 runs 40 pages and is available now for download through MEGA. 

This chapter introduces a new female character -- an Orion security officer named Jessa Nirava. For those unfamiliar with Orions, they are a green-skinned alien race from Star Trek.

In this chapter, we'll also learn more about Captain Kennedy and a bit about the social lives of other crewmembers of the USS Eureka, and we'll see the seeds planted for developments in future chapters. I now envision this series running 8 chapters total. No schedule for when those will be complete. Likely well into next year. 

This has been a very satisfying story to work on in my spare time, and it's allowed me to experiment with plot elements I never have in my previous work. There's an extended cast of characters at this point, something I haven't had before. I think there's far more humor and dramatic irony in this series than in any of my other stories. And I'm also happy with the extended metaphors about bigotry and racism  throughout -- that's what makes it a true sci-fi story, in my opinion.
