Mandrill: Escape to Paradise [Sketch Page Preview] (Patreon)
Content
Hey Extras gang, I hope your holiday season has been safe, relaxing and rewarding.
I wanted to share one more batch of special previews with you all this month as a sort of Christmas Eve bonus – a series of sketch pages from a special side project I've had in the works.
This is your first look at Mandrill: Escape to Paradise, a brand-new comic I adapted from a text story by your fellow patron, Miriam Garrity! Miriam's done a lot of fantastic work with this character, and this comic is only a taste of the depravity and raunchy fun.
If you don't know the Mandrill, I'm not surprised: He's a D-grade villain from the Marvel Universe, a mutant named Jerome Beechman who resembles a hideous mix between a baboon and a man -- but his supercharged pheromones give him control over any woman. Sound familiar?
This story picks up at the tail end of one of Mandrill's attempts at world domination, as the Avengers are closing in on Beechman to bring him to justice. In a last-ditch effort to escape the forces of good, Mandrill has crafted an interdimensional teleporter that allows him to slip to a different world at the last second. Suddenly the foul villain finds himself on a strange and unfamiliar world, on an idyllic island surrounded by statuesque warrior women calling themselves Amazons.... And you can see where it goes from there.
This project is something I'll probably work on after Brides of Baba-Set is concluded, but I wanted to give you an early sneak peek. It may not ever publish in the Main Feed on Patreon, but I'll make sure it's available to you one way or another.
Cheers, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and to all a good night.
