Considering a New Ongoing Tier Level (Patreon)

Hey there,

I've been thinking about ways to deliver more stories to patrons who can afford to pay for them. Right now I have the standard Main Feed for $5/month (with weekly posts) and the Extras level for $7 (roughly bi-weekly bonus content). And obviously I've done Limited-Time tiers ($20-25), with batch delivery of full chapters. All things considered, this has gone pretty smoothly.

But what if I wanted to have two storylines running simultaneously on different tiers? So, as Submission Agenda: Meeting MJ begins this month, you could also pledge to read Submission Agenda: Psylocke or Doomsday v. Wonder Woman at the same time.

How would that work? Right now the concepts I'm considering are:

-A new, $10-12 monthly tier level.

-Subscribers at this level would have access to all content on the Main Feed and Extras feed, plus the bonus ongoing story.

-Rather than receiving weekly posts, subscribers would receive batches of 5-6 pages on the first of every month (as pledges are processed). So you'd still have a story spaced out over months, but you'd get it in chunks.

-Nothing about the Main Feed or Extras tiers would change.

What are your thoughts? Can you suggest any ways to improve this concept? Does it sound like a good or a bad idea? And, most importantly:

Would you consider subscribing to a $10 or $12 monthly tier?

Note: This is all hypothetical at this point. I don't intend to add any extra tiers any time soon. I'm just workshopping ideas to get your thoughts. And I'm highly aware -- especially in the midst of the pandemic/economic crisis --that not everyone has the means to pay for extra porn on a monthly basis. I am so thankful for all of your support and it means a lot to me, now more than ever.

I'd much prefer a higher tier than the one timers, those are a little steep

I hear you. I mean honestly the higher price tag works out to about the same as you would be paying if you followed a storyline month after month, but this way you would have the added benefit of dropping a storyline if you found you weren't into it after the first 5-6 pages.

Personally I really don't like the overall idea. I already didn't like the time-limited tiers, I think there's simply too many different levels and options, I'd prefer a simpler approach. If the idea is to ditch the time limited tiers and replace it with a third tiers (so all there is is a 3tier system), I'd be for it. But 3 tiers + time limited tiers... I don't like it, there's a constant feeling that you're always gonna miss out on stuff. That's just my personal view though, if this is what you need to make this work, so be it.

Im definitely open to the one timer tiers, it would really just depend on the theme of the comic

Thanks for your input, I appreciate it. I think the idea would be basically to replace the Limited-Time tiers with an ongoing third tier option (it would save me the hassle of constantly adding new tiers and advertising what's available, and would ideally be way simpler for patrons like yourself to understand and jump on board). But as I said, it's still hypothetical. No plans to institute a third tier any time soon.

Thanks. I've also thought I should start making it clear at the beginning of chapters what kind of content they contain (m/f, f/f, maledom, vag, oral, etc)

Based on what I read, you're planning on replacing the time limited tiers with a new 3rd one and if that's a permanent change and you don't plan on doing anymore limited, more expensive tiers, then I'm for it. Regardless, it's your content, you charge what you see fit. I will say that 3 tiers is pretty optimal for what you provide.
