It's five years since our first episode came out and we wanted to thank you all for the engagement and support - both with the podcast and the wider intellectual project.

Since April 2017, we've put out over 250 episodes and hosted over 100 guests.

We marked our 100th episode by asking contributors "What was the End of History?" and our 200th by hosting a competition on which country best exemplifies the last 120 years.

We've put out three series: the Übermenschen of Capital, on anti-democratic liberalism; CaliBunga, on the 'Californian ideology'; and OK Bunger!, on the history of generation wars.

This year we relaunched our Reading Club with an extended syllabus on three themes that we believe are essential to understanding the world in 2022.

The chance to meet many of you in person has been a highlight, as we did at our London event, Europe After Brexit; our London book launch; and our book event in New York. We look forward to many more.

And of course, we published The End of the End of History, which now has an edition in German, with an Italian translation on the way.

Thanks to all of you again. Here's to another five years.
