Hello guys!

Sorry for being quiet this month! I have a lot going on.

I sent you Link's drive last night! I will upload the rest of the photos tonight.

Here's a little background story on this costume:

There is a contest named Umigomi Zero cosplay award, which is in collaboration with WCS.  It focuses on an eco-friendly environment and strives to achieve less marine pollution with the help of cosplayers around the world.

The deal is you either go and clean rivers, seas, or whatever you have close to you with a costume on, or create a costume from waste. We wanted to go as Skull kid and Link from Zelda, but we couldn't finish both costumes on time because of my hand problems, so we only submitted Skull kid.
There is no news yet if we have won something because the awarding has been delayed.
I will share some WIPS of Skull kid's costume here as exclusives. ;>

This said, my Link is entirely made from recycled clothes and materials. (except the shield)
I used a super old wig of mine, which I restyled for Link. The blouse is my father's old shirt, which I recolored. The hat I made from another shirt, similar in texture.
For the pants, I used my mom's old jeans, which I bleached. The rest of the leather details are made from genuine leather that is considered a waste in a book publishing studio.

The only thing I created from scratch and is not from 100% recycled materials is the shield, which will be up for sale soon. I just don't have enough space at home to store it.
