New wallpaper: The Photoshoot (Patreon)

Alternative title: "Are you just going to take pictures of my butt all afternoon?"

Fulfilling an possibility teased in chapter 7, today's wallpaper features Macy & Denise dabbling in the art of photography. As wallpapers go, this one came together rather easily, even if the process was more about leaving out than putting in.

For instance, there was this kick-ass studded leather jacket I couldn't get to work properly with the pose, and that didn't take to Dforce well.

There was also killing off the idea of having the MC stand around wearing nothing but a pair of socks, making himself useful by holding up a strategically positioned reflector disk until such a time he'd be called upon to provide his, er... prop as the shoot progressed. Another idea was to have one of the minor characters help out with touching up some makeup. Both would have overly cluttered an already busy set.

Then there was the idea of using the many, many lighting props that the photography studio set came with to actually provide all the lighting in the scene, but they proved a bit too difficult to work with, being either too unfocussed or too harsh as a light source, and rather resource intensive when it came to rendering, so I fell back to using Daz's trusted spotlight object for any out-of-frame light sources.

No noteworthy kitbashing going on, other than replacing a plain colored photography background sheet with an image of a desert road to fit the leather-and-bikes theme the girls seemed to have settled on. And yes, I'm very much aware Denise isn't shooting at the background there but lets just say those pictures are for her... private collection.

Usually, wallpapers are not canon, but this one sort of is. I hope you like it.
