So I will sign up to that tomorrow and see if that would work and if so I might be able to stay here but new videos will just be played through there instead of vimeo

Cool!! I hope that works! The main thing that I saw is that you have to be a “partner” to turn off ads and an “advanced” user to be able to do it. https://faq.dailymotion.com/hc/en-us/articles/115008943887-Enable-disable-the-monetization-on-your-videos Not sure what the requirement is for that. But maybe ads won’t even play if you embed it (similar to how ads don’t play w/ YouTube embeds.) But not sure if you can even embed Dailymotion vids on Patreon.

Haha so dramatic. 😆 Yes you’ll def. have to try it bc the site itself doesn’t say what’s required to be a “partner” or “advanced”. But yeah, it’s a bad situation w/ Vimeo. Btw, have you thought about the Vimeo exemption? You would’ve had to have use the “integration” but maybe you can talk to Vimeo and see if it’s too late to use that. However, you’d have to have Pro plan for Patreon to utilize that feature.

I meant “dramatic” about checking the requirement for turning off ads; not about what you’re going thru. 😆😆 I’ve read about other ppl going thru the same; it’s a bad situation. I feel so bad for you.
