0.7 Development Update 2 (Patreon)

Hey, folks!

v0.7.0

Most of you have already played the latest update, so there's not much to show off. But yeah, we have our first non-dream FFM! And we wanted to start with a lil bit non-obvious pairing, so...

Actually, this particular pairing is pretty obvious if you really think about it, but still. We're happy with the way the scene came out, and we'll be updating and extending it in the future. At the very least it'll definitely become repeatable.

Would love to hear your folks' thoughts about the main story developments. We'll be focusing on the girls' personal stories for the next few updates, but there will be an occasional main story even now and then as well. Starting with...

v0.7.1

We're wrapping up the writing for the next update already. Rae will insist on a conversation with you, although you will still be free to withhold certain details if you so desire. Naomi and Yona are also going to get involved.

But most of the update is going to be about Lyriel and her homeworld. Something is happening out there, and Lyriel is getting involved in it, even if for a little while. Expect grand reveals and heightened tensions.

The temporary conclusion of Lyriel's current arc should happen in 0.7.2 along with the start of another character's arc. We haven't locked our outlines in yet, so if you have thoughts about who's the most in need of more story, leave a comment!

In addition to all that we've just started a poll for the next side sex scene. There's a curious new addition - a submissive Naomi!

The next side sex scene will either come in Beta/EA for 0.7.1 or in the worst case in 0.7.2. One scene in particular might require some additional work to fit properly.

In any case, expect 0.7.1 Alpha to hit next Friday or Saturday.

Minor things

Let me tell you one thing, folks, I'm proud of you all. A good third of those of you who voted in the Roman Empire poll think of it at least once a week. And almost everyone has some thoughts about it now and then. Perhaps a Tiberum special should be on the menu in the future?

Upcoming special thing

Next week we'll officially announce that special thing. You can probably guess what it's going to be, but have another teaser just because.

And let me tell you, I really love how it's coming along. And if I manage to push it through, we'll be doing a very silly yet very cool thing with the special thing's design.

Riften U

And I'd like to share a new teaser and some thoughts about Riften U with you folks. The work on the project is going well enough. The primary storyline of the game is locked in, and the scene sequence is something like 80% ready. And we have a few artworks ready for animation. I think you'll enjoy the result.

The main writer for the game is going to start actually writing the scenes next week, and then it should be a smooth sailing. Don't want to jinx it, but everything seems good on our end.

But we do have this one issue with Riften U. Well, it's not really an issue, more of a concern. We want to bring Riften U to Steam. And since it's the very first Rift-related thing to go on the largest PC gaming storefront, we really, really want to make the launch of it a success. We'll have to have a discussion about it, but it can wait a bit. For now you can have a look at Rae's and Cait's outfits:
