0.6 Development Update 48 (Patreon)

Hey, folks.

It's been more than a month without a dev update, and I'm really sorry for that. I've been sidelining all non-content work for the last month, and it shows. But thanks to that, we've broken 10 000 words in a single update for the first time in ages! And on top of that, Rae's new events feature improved locations, lots of background characters, and we're on track to finish all the planned events in time for the Beta release. In my opinion, that's a cause for a small celebration.

I personally have been travelling since last week. My temporary PC is the reason I couldn't build the Android version of the Alpha, but I'll be back to my main workstation next week, just in time for the Beta build.

Fourth Rae's event in this update will finish her story advancement for now. Not going to lie, it's going to end on a bit of a cliffhanger, but let me assure you, it's necessary. Completely and utterly necessary. And not just because we think Rae should be doled out in small portions to prevent overRaection.

In addition to that, Lyriel's new sex scene (as voted by some of you all) is coming to Beta as well. More costume action for her, and more of her signature disagreeable flair. And hopefully I'll be able to add a new mechanic for her in time for EA. It's been brought to my attention that some of Lyriel's scenes feel a bit iffy when it's only MC initiating them. I agree with that, and given Lyriel's general disposition, it's overdue for her to start actually asking MC to... You know... I won't say it, it's, like, disgusting. And gross. Just come to my room in a few minutes. And don't smile like that!

For the next update we're planning to add a few more slice-of-life events, at least one sex scene, and depending on how it goes, we might start a new personal story arc. We're definitely continuing the Lost and Found event line, and there's going to be a poll next week for the next few objects the girls are going to find.

In addition to all that there are a few things still brewing in the background. One of these things didn't work out for now, but we're not completely discounting it yet. Do stay tuned for more. I'll try my best to get back to more regular dev updates, but to be perfectly honest, it's been refreshing to go radio silent for a while.
