0.3 Development Update 3 (Patreon)

 And another week is behind us.

I think this one was quite productive. Last time I was talking about locking down the routes, well, so much for that. As I go deeper into the writing, some scenes evolved, mutated even, and it made more sense to rearrange the order a bit.

A-and I couldn’t stop myself from adding even more events, but from now on, no more. Well, ma-a-aybe just one additional little scene… Seriously, though, I’m going to stop doing that, it’s dumb to try and cram too much stuff in a single release. Timely releases are my first priority.

Sex and fetish poll is now open for all $15+ patrons. Although there are only a few people who are eligible to vote, I’m seeing some pattern already, and will add stuff accordingly. I’ve also had some feedback about the results of the last poll, and now I’m thinking about including not one, but two clothing sets in the game. There are a couple of scenes that would benefit from a certain choice of garments, and a girl has to have a going out outfit, right?

Writing-wise, I’m finally up to speed on that, more or less finished four scenes this week, with another two in draft stage. So far, I like the way the story goes, though there are some issues with progression that I’m working on. Nevertheless, it all feels much smoother now.

Another environment done, you’ll be able to see it in one of the preview pictures. One last room to add, and one “outside” environment to build, and major content bottlenecks are gone. Hope I’ll be able to get to the actual scene rendering next week. But at least I’ve been able to do a few proof-of-concept animations this week. Those of you who are in Discord already seen an early WIP of one of those. You might think that having an early animation draft is no big achievement, but believe me, there are so many potential issues with more complex motions, that having an actual working prototype, however unpolished, is a huge relief, so, happy with that.
