First of all, thank you all, my kind patrons, for your support. It's almost a month already since I released the first version of the game, and boy, does time fly. 

Now I must apologize to you. I stated earlier that I wanted to release the next version sometime in May, and that's not feasible anymore. The blame lies with me, I severely underestimated the amount of work I had to do to keep up with my other commitments. The plan was to put about one and a half or maybe even two weeks of work into the game by the end of last week. I barely managed to put in half a week of work by that time. Yeah... Not good, not good at all.

Another thing that slowed me down is the migration to the new animation capture workflow. I've spent a couple of days trying to make it all work, but I hope it was worth it. Now I can do raw capture in UHD, without compression, and most importantly, without any lag or stutter and with proper in-engine simulation speed. I've already captured and remuxed the longest seamless loop so far, 42 seconds of full HD goodness at 60fps. Hope y'all like it when you see it.

Finally, sometimes I just get carried away with ideas. We had a vote for a most wanted in-game feature, and girl stats display won. Then I got to thinking that putting in a single UI screen would be boring. Why not integrate all this into the game world and make it fit the lore? So now there's an additional long-ish scene in the development that will enable this new feature. And you know, I had an idea for a dream scene, and it's mostly written, but then I thought, why not make it more interactive? Maybe add a tiny little minigame? I mean, what's another fifty or so renders and couple of hundred lines of code. I'm still torn on this one.

But enough whining. Let's see some raw numbers.

 Done so far:

  • 118 story renders
  • 1 long animation loop
  • 2 short loops
  • ~1000 lines of dialogue

Yet to do:

  • Lots of stuff

But at the very least in v0.2 you can expect:

  • 4 full-size story scenes, 500+ lines of dialogue each, at least two of those with new special mechanics
  • 3+ side events 
  • 3 new animated sex scenes with 2 or 3 loops each
  • Full introduction of the pirate lady, and our first side character
  • Girl stats screen

Shortly after the release of v0.2 to $5 patrons, I will also introduce new patron tiers. Those will come with personalized CG requests of the game's characters and other bonuses. And as a special thank you to you, my earliest supporters, each one of you will get your own bonus personalized CGs in June. More details will be revealed with the tiers update.
