Finally done with this print! Emet-Selch easily became my favorite antagonist of all time by the end of Shadowbringers. I still get teary eyed listening to the music or revisiting the cutscenes. What I wanted to convey was him looking back on the past, still attached to what he lost. So he's turned away, facing his recreation of Amaurot instead of the current ruins of that once proud city. There was a lot I lost since the end of 2020 to the present, and I'm still struggling with that. Maybe that's why Emet-Selch's story, and Shadowbringers in general, hit me so hard once I got to it.
