You ever become unsatisfied with how your character looks, spend hours redesigning her, and then end up going back to the original 'cause now  you can appreciate it more? Well, that's basically how my time with Mina went recently. I thought a more tomboy-ish hair cut would fit her better, but the more I put it on paper the less thrilled I was about it. Not sure why, but the original haircut felt more unique and fitting, while everything else just ended up looking very generic or unnecessary on her. I do like the haircuts though (just not on MIna lol), so I may use them for a future project or something.

I did make a few changes though. Mina's sweatshirt is not baggier and less form fitting, and I put less emphasis on her curves to help give off that somewhat androgynous look I was originally aiming for. Also, per the suggestion of someone whose art opinions I trust a lot, I experimented with giving Mina a scarf. Had her wear it in various ways, though I'm leaning towards the way it's worn in the 3rd and 4th versions in that final image. Figured it would be something Cammie gave her years ago that Mina held on to, hence why it's color has faded quite a bit .
