Using an Atlesian Dust Driver, Ruby transforms into Kamen Rider Rose to fend off the monstrous creatures of Grimm that have been overrunning the world of Remnant. The Rose Dust crystal she uses to transform is a memento of her late mother, Summer.

The Dust Driver is a device that originated in Atlas, and was majorly funded by the Schnee Dust Company. Allegedly, Ruby's driver was originally intended for the heiress of the SDC. Once it was given to Ruby by Ozpin, a second driver was quickly put into production for the heiress.
