Hi everybody!

I thought I'd provide a little preview of my next post, since I've been getting all ambitious again and these things take time.

You might remember that Thorgnar's latest adventure ended with he and his buddy Urg taking a break at a roadside inn, where he meets the young bard Finn. This seemed like a good opportunity for Thorgnar to explain to a new character what the heck he's actually up to on his adventure - rather than just show that as exposition, it seemed like a great opportunity to show a cool battle/war scene.

In ages past, the Orcs and Barbarians - who had long been rivals - were united against a common foe as the earth split open and eldritch monstrosities spewed forth. The tide of this war turned when Throg, god of might, took corporeal form to aid them against the darkness. Throg being a proper, old-fashioned, virile god, he also started a bloodline before departing for the heavens.

For generations the only lasting evidence of this happening was the hammer of Throg, and the uncommon size and strength of those believed to have descended from him. But through yet more generations, the hammer has vanished. Thrognar - 'Son of Throg' adventured south from his homeland to look for clues to the whereabouts of his birthright.

...a lot of this will probably go over Finn's head so the next page I'll show him getting blown out with a huge barbarian load. Y'know.

This is looking so epic. 😄 Throg the stud, showing his might and virility in battle upon the mortal realm. Love the addition of the poor barbarians who were taken by the enemy, too!
