Hey everyone!

Here's an animated version of our recent Turtle Island map! A beautiful, serene, slow moving turtle, just living their best life swimming in the ocean. We hope you can have some magical fey adventures here. :)

Those of you running Spelljammer campaigns will be happy to hear there's also an animated version of the astral variant too! So if you'd prefer your turtle swimming through space, we've got you covered!

The track in the video is "Leukothea" by the wonderful Will Savino, from his album Music d20: Vol. 5.

Hope you enjoy this! For next month we're working on an animated version of our recent toll castle map!

Edit: We've also uploaded the shield as a WEBM file so that it can be placed ontop of other maps, for instance if you want to use it with a spelljammer or atop some rocks floating in the astral sea. You can get that here.

man i wish i wasn't about to end my campaign this month and had a chance to get this in it. next time. question!! if you're using this on a regular old tv as a battlemap, what's the preferred method for getting a grid on it? for us in-person players?

Karl Rasmussen

It's kind of a sledgehammer for a mosquito as I'm ignoring 99% of the capabilities, but I picked up a foundry VTT license when we went remote and continue to use it with a TV box for tabletop maps.

just to run the TV? man that's something. thanks for the tip. i'm about to just edit this thing in premiere and call it a day

Having trouble with the manifest and foundry v9. Any other people with same problem? The other animated maps seem to work just fine. this is super cool btw.

I know I'm late to the party, but I use EncounterPlus (you get the maps all set up at the 5 dollar level!). If you have an iOS device or a Mac, and a way to show it on your TV (HDMI adapter or Apple TV, or a tv that supports AirPlay), it's super easy, and has the grid already aligned and ready to go.
