Temple Pastures [36x43] (Patreon)

Hey everyone, back again!

This map was almost entirely inspired by this painting by Antonio Joli:

The idea of these quaint farms in the shadow of a giant ruined temple just seemed too fantastical not to make into a battlemap. Some casual reminder that we're a living part of someone else's post-apocalyptic dream. 

We've made versions with the temple in all its former glory, some in ruins, as well as some without the temple at all. Perhaps you can have the temple as the haunting ground of a vengeful deity, angry their statues have been defiled. Or the location of a revival cult hurridly digging up the bones of the god resting beneath the flagstones. Or onlookers to a temple burning, floods and shifting sands. Or maybe just use the plains version for a harvest market. :3
