Hey everyone!

Two posts in two hours! We hope you enjoy this final battlemap of the month. We'll be back next month with the Shadowfell Fortress Interior, another Dragon Lair and more. :D

"When the local fishing village discovered the kraken beached on their shores, it took little more than a handful of brave entrepreneurs to convince the locals of the value of the creature’s innards. Rather than try and move the gargantuan beast, they built the docks around the kraken, excavating valuable oils, meats and glands said to have magical properties, and any other piece of the creature that could serve some purpose. Waste not, want not!"

This map is huge and we intended a lot of sneaking around the docks as search lights whirr across the sea and the night sky. Hide behind crates and barrels, crawl over the slowly drying skin of the dead goliath as armed patrols sweep back and forth over the walkways. This loot may look revolting but its worth its weight in gold.

Along with the beach-view we've also designed the inner bowels of the beached kraken, filled with the bones of whales and boughs of ships. If you plan to take your party even deeper into the innards of the kraken, check out our Tarrasque mega-map we made, which has tons of explorable organs you can use with this map.

The interior map is 37x20.

But we've got even more for you. :)

Our friends over at Adventure Music are back for our 2nd collaboration and they've made two awesome tracks to accompany this map!

For those who weren't around for our last collab, i'll let them introduce themselves:

"Adventure Music creates original instrumental music for tabletop games. We cover a large range of styles and feels so that each of our tracks has multiple possible uses. We have a monthly poll where patrons get to choose the music for the month. Besides our standard tracks we offer our base level patrons, there are also tiers for "looped tracks" and "expansion tracks". Join us to get instant access to our back catalog of over 70 original tracks and expansions.

About the Tracks: Inspired by Cze and Peku's amazing art, our two tracks for this collaboration attempt to place players right on the beach with the Kraken Carcass. "Exploring the Carcass" is mystical and mysterious and is driven by a dreamy watery piano part that is played throughout the piece. Waves lap at the shore a set a wonderful background track for exploring the pier and the body itself. "Battle in a Kraken" is a track we never thought we'd make, but is all of the energy and excitement a battle within and around the body of a giant Kraken carcass would be! Iconic orchestral battle moments give way to plucked strings and ferocious brass in this stunning battle track."

You can find the patron-only tracks HERE. And the exclusive extended versions for $5+ patrons are HERE.

Lastly, we want to introduce you all to the awesome work of our friend Paulo, who is launching their new patreon today. Paulo helped us out making the Beached Kraken map and have also created a Vampire Crab monster for you to fight on the beaches! You can get that for free here. The PDF comes with lots of art, lore and a stat block. Paulo will be creating new monsters each month over at Aanry's Book of Monsters it's just launching today, so please go check it out.

And if you enjoyed either of these collaboration efforts make sure to support the wonderful creators behind them. :)

omg this is so epic.

Kackman

Epic doesn't begin to describe it. If one was so inclined, they could use several of these over time to equal one awesome adventure.

Adventure Music

Thrilled to get to work with Cze and Peku again! Hope everyone likes the music!

Alex Smith

Two of the gridless maps have light grids on them. Can this be fixed? They are the shark map and the debris map.

Le_Dragon_Reborn

Could this be the kraken that's been thought to prowl the waters of The Shearing Channel?

Omar Bazavilvazo

There are EncounterPlus version of this map? I don't see the E+ map for this (and older posts) anywhere

Great maps! What exactly is the size on the stomach map?

czepeku

There's a delay on the VTT versions because we're waiting on the person who usually converts them for us.

czepeku

Thanks for pointing that our Alex, i'll get those fixed and reuploaded.

DeadManJoe

This is...fucking amazing...

Kal

I may raise this in the discord but hoping to get an answer here that anyone else with the same confusion can see. I am looking to run this multiple times for different groups within a community and have the R20 version, I have run lots in R20 with a Pro subscription but for the life of me Im not sure I understand the division between night and day portions of the map's provided and how that should work if the party decides to attack at night? Pretty sure Im missing something simple...

Kal

lmao, I created a new game to compare the light and map settings and realised that the first time there was some error with the add-on module which meant the night map didnt load and just had tokens and light sources. All sorted now....
