Hey everyone, here's the campaign files for this week's maps. You can get them all in the zip attached below. For those who are new to this tier, the campaign maps are part of an ongoing series of maps, check the Map Room for the previous maps. The images below are previews of what's in the zip file.

You can get all of this week's battlemaps on the main post.

About this week's campaign map, The Long Claw:

Situated to the north of The Western Spit (last week's map). A horrendous plague hit these lands causing many to flee to the south in ships. The plains long stood desolate, the villages rotten and collapsing. No traders nor adventures dare step in those lands. Then one day the Skawn started to inhabit these lands. Part northern raider, part rodent, the result of some cruel experiment. Some say the same experiment that created the plague itself. They march into battle with a blank banner, marked only with blood. Only the foolish journey this route to the north.

The kingdoms of Antelion and Umetago abide their safety through the deep seas that surround their lands. A series of castle towns form a frontier that keeps the Skawn from traveling southward. The castle towns are home to the hardiest and most desperate traders, taking goods by land and ship between the two island nations.

And for this week's campaign notes. I've been thinking about other ways in which to present battles. I like battles that are uneven or unwinnable. It's easy to give players enemies they can be expected to defeat, more fun to force them into situations they can't win but have an incentive not to just flee either. So that's what this week's campaign notes are about.

Until next week!
