I was eagerly awaiting your reaction to this one. If you really think about it, this is a really fucked up "what-if" scenario of what Deku could've become. His quirk never came in while Tenko's was late coming in. They both wanted to be heroes and were very kind kids, they both admired All-Might to a degree, but most of all, they both had families who never said what they wanted to hear. Deku wanted his mom to say he could become a hero despite being quirkless (in that heartbreaking scene with him crying by the computer) and Tenko wanted his family to defend him from his father instead of making excuses for him. The major difference (besides the whole abusive father leading to family killing thing) is who they met that ultimately became their mentors. Deku with All-Might and Tomura with All for One with that twisted "I am here for you" moment. He really is the perfect plot parallel antagonist to Deku. Kinda makes those "Villain Deku" AU's online way more ominous huh?

According to Gran Torino, Nana's husband was killed due to her hero work, which led to her giving up her son to an orphanage so he wouldn't suffer the same fate. She asked Gran Torino and All Might to NEVER interact or look into him, hence them being so blindsided about Shigaraki's existence.
