Yeah learning the backstory of a villain is always great. I love learning why someone becomes a villain. I love a sympathetic villain. Some times it just takes one bad day to break a person. That's a reference to The Killing Joke great comic great animated movie if you ignore the first around 30 minutes or so of added story.

Yeah, I love Tara Strong and nearly everything she's in, but man, was I disappointed in the first 30 minutes of that movie. I would've forgiven it, if it was at least an interesting case for Batgirl to solve and you know what between her and you know who didn't happen either, but nope, they had to do all of that, ugh. At least the latter half was close to spectacular though. I will stand by that forever.
