I always keep subtitles on and when she was trying to fix the rocket it actually said Della hums NES moon base theme, which she did but the fact it went that far is great.

Lance Reddick as General Lunaris is great. They have not spared expense getting great voice actors/actresses for this show.

Paget Brewster voices Della, for the last 15 years she played Emily Prentiss on Criminal Minds.

On the SU, Rose Quartz point. SU had that infuriating format restriction that Steven was ALWAYS the point of view. So to learn anything about other characters had to be stories told to him. There were points when Steven became the least interesting aspect of the show, yet we were shackled to him.

I do love that they made Della as flawed as any character. It’d have been easy for them to just make her this awesome adventurer and mother. Which she is. But she’s impulsive, stubborn, impatient. Even a little bit of that Donald temper.

had no idea, but then again I've never seen Criminal Minds lol, it's funny the show should be right up my alley just didn't catch my attention.

Fun Fact: The song Della sings/hums throughout the episode was actually made for the Moon Stage in the Ducktales Video Game on the NES. The writers of this reboot put SO MUCH detail and love into this series it's crazy. It's also crazy going back and replaying that game now with actual lyrics to go along with it. Della as a character, didn't really exist until almost 30 years after that song was composed, but it IS her song now.

Give it a shot sometime. It really was a great show, I'm sad that it's over now. When I heard Emily's voice coming from Della I was ecstatic!
