The new She Ra design is twofold. This isn’t spoilers for the show, btw. First, it’s Adora’s true connection to She Ra for the first time. Noelle Stevenson says the original design was a mix of her militaristic background and her discomfort with her own femininity. Personally, I think that’s a retroactive way to explain why the outfit was so awkward. Second, the design is inspired by her friends. The helmet fits her face like Catra’s mask, the heart on her chest like Bow, and something about her boots has to do with Glimmer, I forget that part.

Whelp, there’s your goofy episode of the season. Everyone gets chipped. Love Perfuma, love her in that classy garb, and love Scorpia. I really like that scene with Catra sitting in Adora’s lap and tickling her nose with her tail. That first episode was heart wrenching for me, I kinda didn’t expect them to get Catra back, and was fearful of her being either brainwashed for the rest of the season, or possibly killed in self sacrifice or something.

I only want to mention it because you’ve brought it up a couple times. But the 3 siblings we met on that planet had their own ship that they were trying to refuel. Remember that Horde Prime controls hundreds upon thousands of planets across the galaxy. Etheria isn’t the only one. They mention that they want to go reclaim their home planet now because She-Ra and the gang inspired them. That’s what they mean when they say they’re going to join the rebellion and fight. They’re going to fight the Horde but other places. It sucks that they’re one off kinda characters cause I really did like them, but that why (unless I’m wrong) why they aren’t currently with the best friend squad.

I do love how the opening visuals change throughout the season. The new look of She-Ra is pretty awesome, and I love this Catra-Adora relationship. Catra has probably changed the most throughout this series, and it is great she is being redeemed.
